Szallas.hu: domestic tourism closed a record year in first quarter
The domestic tourism closed a record year in first quarter: in the third quarter of 2015 the sector grew by approximately 10 percent, compared to the same period of the last year – according to the data of Szallas.hu
The clear winner of the past three months is Somogy county, which granted accomodiation to nearly 16 percent of the domestic guests – the portal told MTI on Wednesday.
Varga Zoltán, managing director of Szallas.hu presented in the communication that on the basis of the number of guest nights, the one-night stays have become more popular and grew by 4 percent, experience of previous years came true also in the last three months: we rather go on holiday for shorter periods many times. Two-thirds of all bookings were for 1-3 nights. (MTI)
