Szallas.hu: Fivefold traffic in hotels during the Easter holiday weekend
The four-day long weekend of Easter will bring fivefold increase in the Hungarian hotels, compared to an average March weekend, according to the data of Szallas.hu. According to the forecasts, Heves, Borsod, and Pest counties have the greatest share of Easter sales, half of the reservations are for apartments or guesthouses.
According to the booking page, this year’s Easter on the basis of the reservations indicates a 6.23 percent increase compared to last year’s Easter.
In the announcement, Drávai-Mészáros Judit, marketing manager at Szallas.hu said that the average booking value is close to 60,000 HUF, while in the case of a SZÉP-card payment it reaches almost 70,000 HUF and every fifth guests uses a SZÉP card. (MTI)
