Szallas.hu: the popularity of the Croatian coast among Hungarians has increased
The popularity of the Croatian coast increased this year: by April 20, Hungarians had made 81 percent more reservations than a year earlier, according to Szallas.hu’s own data.
According to the announcement of the accommodation booking portal on Wednesday, the apartment category is the most popular of the accommodation types, chosen by 45 percent of the respondents traveling to Croatia.
Lili Kelemen, the press spokesperson of Szallas.hu explained: according to their booking data, in this season (June-September), one night costs HUF 12,000 on average in Croatia. The demand for half-board is the highest, accounting for 44.3 percent of the bookings, the proportion of those requesting only breakfast is much lower, 17.8 percent, and 2 percent choose full board.
