Szállás.hu: traffic is increasing to fourfold at Hungarian hotels at Easter
Domestic tourism is growing at the Easter long weekend more than fourfold, compared to an average April data. Compared to last year’s Easter, the growth is 87 percent. The average booking value is 53 thousand HUF, and tourists typically spend two nights – the booking data of Szállás.hu reveals.
The hotel booking portal highlights in MTI’s Tuesday announcement: every fifth reservation is paid with a SZÉP card, the average value of which is 78 thousand HUF. The most popular accommodation types are apartments (25 percent), guest houses (23 percent) and lodging houses (17 percent). (MTI)
