Szallas.hu: domestic tourism increased by 15 percent in the second quarter
Domestic tourism grew by fifteen percent in the second quarter, following an 8 percent increase in the first quarter, and according to forecasts, a double digit growth is expected in the next quarter, according to the most recent analysis of the Szallas.hu portal that was sent to MTI.
The Szallas.hu portal highlighted that to the new record level expansion, the four-day Easter and Pentecost played a big role. Most of the guests visited Budapest, Siófok and Eger.
The most significant increase was measured by the experts of Szallas.hu in reservations for 3 days, where growth was 20 percent. (MTI)
