Szallas.hu: Hungarians spent more and traveled for a longer time
The domestic tourism has arrived to a trend turn in this year’s second quarter: after three years, the rate of bookings longer than 3 days has increased.
Hungarians also spent more money on holidays. The expiration of the 2013 Széchenyi Rest Cards had a huge role in the results. According to the data of Szallas.hu, online hotel reservation site sent to MTI on Friday, the average reservation value increased by 50 percent to 49,054 HUF in the second quarter. (MTI)
