Szallas.hu: domestic travelers are mainly looking for discount prices and the SZÉP card payment option
Domestic travelers are primarily looking for discount prices, package offers, bookings without advance payment and the SZÉP card payment option – Szallas.hu announced on Tuesday with MTI based on its latest survey.
As they wrote, in addition to all this, it is a major advantage if the accommodation brokerage site also has Hungarian-language customer service that can be called every day. They added: travel planners primarily plan their vacations on online accommodation brokerage platforms, because on these platforms, in addition to accommodation types, they can also choose from a wider range of prices.
In May of this year, Szallas.hu conducted an online survey of its newsletter subscribers involving 970 people. The sampling is not representative of the population of Hungary, but the answers are suitable for illustrating the main travel trends and attitudes of domestic travelers, the accommodation booking portal wrote in its statement.
