Lake Balaton is an absolute hit this summer as well: in the high season, 34 percent of domestic bookings come here, so the average booking value increased by roughly 12 percentage points, compared to the previous year, according to the latest data of Szállás.hu.

In a statement sent to MTI on Thursday, it is emphasized that there will be full house on Lake Balaton at the weekend of 20 August.

According to the announcement, Szigetvári József, CEO of the Szallas.hu Group, said that according to the feedback of several partners, the occupancy rate was 70-90 percent in July and August. The number of active bookings increased by 6 percent and the average booking value per person per night by 4 percent compared to 2019, he explained.
