Szallas.hu: domestic tourism can expand by 6 percent this year
Ther Szallas.hu forecasts a six percent growth on the domestic tourism market in 2014. The online hotel reservation site bases its forecast on the further spread of the Széchenyi Rest Cards as well as on the innovative mood in the tourism sector.
According to the release of the Szallas.hu, sent to MTI on Wednesday, tourism market increased by about 6 percent in 2013. The domestic accommodation income amounted to 60 billion HUF last year, and more than half of it came via online channels, such as hotel reservation and coupon sites, and through the own websites of the ghoteliers.
