Agricultural Ministers' agreement on the restructuring of the CAP

The agricultural ministers of the European Union succeeded to agree in the terms of restructuring the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) on Tuesday night.

Under the agreement, negotiations can be started with the European Parliament. Czerván György State Secretary of the Ministry of Rural Development told MTI that several Hungarian aspects could be validated.

“The pie has gotten smaller, but Hungary’s pie part became bigger as well as our support ratio” – the politician highlighted.  (MTI)
