Professional association: the situation of the Hungarian logistics sector can be strengthened
According to the Association of Hungarian Logistics Service Centers (MLSZKSZ), the situation of the Hungarian logistics sector can be strengthened and it can generate significant additional income for all those involved, because the Ministry of Economic Development plans to introduce a number of measures and regulatory changes in cooperation with the players in the field.
In the association’s statement sent to MTI on Monday, it was highlighted that the planned measures will create the conditions for expanded parking lots with modern and safe accommodation options to be established in many parts of the country, they will also revise the border traffic practices affecting the throughput of key road and railway border crossings, and introduce a stricter control system against foreigners transporting vehicles without a permit.
According to the plans, the minimum service fee and the e-bill of lading will be introduced, as well as the number of subcontractors that can be involved in the transport, as well as the payment deadline for the settlements between the carriers, will be maximized – they write in the announcement.
