The Vine and Wine Subcommittee consults with professional organizations

Currently, one of the most serious problem of the wine industry is to face with the uninvoiced traffic, which now reaches an estimated 45 percent of the wine distribution.

Horváth Csaba the Secretary-General of the National Council of Wine Communities pointed out that in Hungary, 193 thousand hectares are appropriate for the planting of first class vines. However, only 82 thousand hectares of vineyards are registered countrywide.
