The U.S. economy improves
According to the datas of the U.S. Commerce Department; the gross domestic product of the United States grew by 5.9 percent between October and December 2009, compared to the 2.2 percent growth of the previous quarter.
Expectations moreover, were quite mixed. The 76 economists and analysts surveyed by Bloomberg, forecasted very different datas.The most pessimistic forecast for the rate of growth was 4.2 percent, while the most optimistic forecast for the rate of growth was 6.3 percent for the fourth quarter.
The 5.9 percent performance also means that the world's largest economy increased by an amount have not seen for six years – reports tozsdeforum.hu., after Equilor.
