Accelerating export, huge trade surplus

The May trade surplus of 720 million euros is much higher than expected, and it seems to be realistic that the 3.3 billion surplus of the first five months can reach more than 7 billion euros in the end of the year – explained analysts to MTI on Friday.

According to the preliminary datas of the Central Statistical Office (KSH); exports in May increased by almost 19 percent, while imports by 14 percent, the foreign trade surplus was 720 million euros – reports profitline.hu.
