Flourishing Slovakian industry
The Slovakian industrial output exceeded 21 percent in April, compared to a year earlier – reported the Slovak Statistical Office on Tuesday. The forecast was 18.8 percent.
The Slovakian industry is steadily growing for the sixth consecutive months. In March, the annual level of growth was 19.2 percent.
Due to the effect of the external market situation, the GDP has grown in this year's first quarter on an annual level of 4.8 percent, compared to the previous quarter of 0.8 percent. On an annual basis the Slovak economy improved for the first time, since the last quarter of 2008 – reports MTI.
