The coronavirus pandemic has severely affected Slovenian tourism
From January to July, 1.6 million tourists visited Slovenia and spent a total of 4.6 million guest nights in the country. The number of tourists decreased by 54 percent and the number of guest nights by 45 percent, compared to the same period last year.
In the seventh month, however, more than 653,000 arrivals were registered, of which 407,000 were domestic and 249,300 were foreign, a decrease of 27.5 percent from the same period last year and the number of guest nights decreased by 18.5 percent to 2.07 million, compared to July 2019.
