French fries and fried meat are still in the lead
In terms of Hungarian cooking habits stews, vegetable dishes, fried foods and baked potatoes are in the lead – the latest research on eating habits revealed. Many of these will be on the tables of the families during the holidays.
The GfK research prepared for Vénusz revealed that housewives in 2014 like to cook stew, stew, vegetable dishes, fried meat or fish to their beloved ones. In terms of side dishes it seems that the french fries remains dethroneable, as 90 percent of the respondents would like to prepare it any time. This 77 percent of the housewives prepare french fries from fresh potatoes, and 80 percent cook it in sunflower oil.
