Street food restaurants were inspected by Nébih
During the renewed and expanded series of summer seasonal inspections, the food chain safety (Nébih) inspectors also specially checked street food catering facilities.

Particular attention was paid to compliance with food hygiene requirements
Food chain inspectors from government offices and district offices inspected a total of 185 street food catering units (e.g. buffet carts). Particular attention was paid to compliance with food hygiene requirements, the use of imitations and informing customers.
During the inspections, they decided to impose fines in 14 cases and limit the activities of 1 unit. Several procedures are still ongoing, but the amount of fines imposed so far exceeds HUF 300,000. The most common deficiencies stemmed from general hygiene and traceability problems, inadequate health/hygiene knowledge of workers, and lack of information on allergens. In many cases, the employees worked with invalid health booklets or could not even present a medical certificate of their fitness. In addition, the documents required by HACCP were not kept up-to-date, and the extermination of insects and rodents did not prove to be adequate either. The lack of specialized storage was also a typical error.
