A strategic agreement was signed between the Ministry of Agriculture and the Beekeepers’ Association. The document on the cooperation of the further development of the sector was signed on Friday by Nagy István, Parliamentary Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture, and Bross Péter, President of the National Hungarian Association of Beekeepers (OMME).
Nagy István said that the framework agreement contains that the beekeepers and the government will continue to cooperate with each other in professional issues. It also sets out how to enforce the interests of the Hungarian beekeepers both domestically and abroad and how to distribute funds from the Hungarian Apiculture National Program. (MTI)
