The WHC Group and the Hungarian Ecumenical Aid Organization have concluded a strategic agreement
The WHC Group and the Hungarian Ecumenical Aid Organization (MÖS) concluded a three-year strategic cooperation agreement, the purpose of which is to create opportunities and strengthen social solidarity. The contract was signed by László Lehel, president and director of the Ecumenical Relief Society, and Péter Berta, managing co-owner of the WHC Group.
According to the agreement, the WHC Group, in addition to providing continuous resources and contributing to the activities of one of Hungary’s largest, internationally recognized charitable organizations, provides them with full HR support. The goal of the three-year partnership is to jointly help disadvantaged and cumulatively disadvantaged children catch up, as well as to help families seeking a way out of poverty with various fund-raising campaigns and charity programs.
The cooperation between the large HR service company and the Ecumenical Relief Organization is not new, since the WHC Group has already participated in the work of the relief organization on several occasions:
as a partner, they supported the Continuation Fund, which was created by the charitable organization in order to mitigate the effects of the economic crisis affecting their institutions and to be able to continue to support families in need,
they joined the school start together! for the promotion of an aid campaign, during which, by supporting a charity family picnic combined with an open-air cinema, attention was drawn to the possibilities of donating in support of the Aid Organization,
they started as a team on various charity runs, such as helping the goals of the Kapaszkodó program, which helps more than 3,000 children with a difficult fate,
within the framework of the A box of love aid campaign, they contributed to the Christmas of needy families with outdoor and indoor toys, durable food, hygiene and baby care products, as well as technical equipment, and in addition collected donations for the Jelenlét Point in Kürtöpuszta and the Biztos Kezdet Children’s House in Szendrő,
and since the outbreak of the war, they have been helping Ukrainian refugees with job search support and mentoring through the Ukrainian Refugee Support Center of the Ecumenical Relief Organization.
The aid organization’s support fits well with the WHC Group’s social responsibility strategy: the company’s important mission is to create opportunities and value.
