Strategic agreement between NGM and Coca-Cola Magyarország
The Agreement is aimed at increasing the output of the company in Hungary and fostering supplier co-operation
In line with the Hungarian Growth Plan aimed at boosting the Hungarian economy and as an acknowledgment of the significant role which the Coca-Cola HBC Ltd. Co. plays in the Hungarian economy, the Ministry for National Economy has concluded a Strategic Partnership Agreement with the Coca-Cola HBC Hungary Ltd. Co. The objective of the Strategic Agreement is to secure the long-term presence of Coca-Cola Hungary Ltd. under the principle of mutual trust and predictability, to help boost domestic production in order to secure a deeper integration into the Hungarian economy as well as to strengthen the active role which the company plays in the implementation of the economic policy of the government aimed at increasing competitiveness. The Agreement also deals with the issue of improving co-operation in the field of suppliers and as a result, the Coca-Cola Hungary Ltd. increases the number of Hungarian suppliers in the supply network. Under the Agreement, the parties will regularly evaluate the co-operation process regarding suppliers and development and define relevant investments. On behalf of the Government of Hungary the partnership will be co-ordinated by the Ministry for National Economy.
