Shell Energy and MVM CEEnergy sign strategic gas trading agreement
A ten-year gas trading agreement has been signed between Shell Energy Europe Limited (SEEL) and the Hungarian natural gas trading company, MVM CEEnergy Zrt. (MVM CEEnergy). The agreement is a significant step in strengthening SEEL’s commercial presence in Central and Eastern Europe.
Under the cooperation, which will come into effect in January 2026, SEEL will supply approximately 200 million cubic meters of natural gas annually.The long-term partnership deepens the relationship between SEEL and MVM CEEnergy, and also contributes to strengthening SEEL’s role in the Central European energy industry.
For MVM CEEnergy, the agreement ensures reliable, long-term gas supply for its end-user portfolio and increases flexibility through diversified delivery points.
“We are pleased to be able to supply natural gas to MVM CEEnergy in Central Europe, thereby contributing to strengthening the security of energy supply in the region and with our trading partners,”
