Shell Energy and MVM CEEnergy sign strategic gas trading agreement

A ten-year gas trading agreement has been signed between Shell Energy Europe Limited (SEEL) and the Hungarian natural gas trading company, MVM CEEnergy Zrt. (MVM CEEnergy). The agreement is a significant step in strengthening SEEL’s commercial presence in Central and Eastern Europe.

The long-term partnership deepens the relationship between SEEL and MVM CEEnergy, and also contributes to strengthening SEEL’s role in the Central European energy industry.
For MVM CEEnergy, the agreement ensures reliable, long-term gas supply for its end-user portfolio and increases flexibility through diversified delivery points.
“We are pleased to be able to supply natural gas to MVM CEEnergy in Central Europe, thereby contributing to strengthening the security of energy supply in the region and with our trading partners,”
– said Bob Kijkuit, Vice President of Shell Energy Europe Limited regarding the agreement.
“The long-term partnership between SEEL and MVM CEEnergy is an important milestone in our efforts to diversify our natural gas portfolio”
– emphasized Gábor Orbán, CEO of MVM CEEnergy, highlighting the significance of the cooperation.
“The agreement will enable us to strengthen gas supply in Central Europe in a sustainable way in the long term.”
