AstraZeneca and the Hungarian Nephrological Society enter into strategic cooperation
It is estimated that nearly 850 million people worldwide suffer from impaired kidney function and its complications, and all indications are that this will be one of the most threatening diseases in the future. In our country, about one and a half million people can be affected by chronic kidney disease, while depending on their progression, it can increase the risk of cardiovascular damage by up to 14 times.
