Start at Airport City
The first phase of the project is scheduled for completion in Q1 2008 including 8,300 sqm of warehouse space for lease and nearly 2,000 sqm of offices.
Developer Ablon has started construction work on Airport
City logistics park near Budapest's Ferihegy Airport. Once completed,
65,600-sqm Airport City will boast 47,500 sqm of warehouses and 18,100 sqm of
office space.
The Airport City site is located near the commuter town of Vecsés, southeast of
Budapest – a 5-minute drive from Ferihegy Airport or from a newly completed
section of the M0 ring road. The proximity of the airport is seen as a major
bonus for Hungarian and international trading companies and businesses active
in Ferihegy. The project consists of 8 buildings, which will be developed in
several phases.
