UK Co-op uses Starship robots in Cambridge
Following a successful pilot period, UK retailer Co-op has launhced delivery robots in Cambridge, in cooperation with the Cambridgeshire County Council and Starship Technologies. Co-op’s delivery service is available to approximately 12,200 residents. Shoppers can order groceries via the Starship food delivery app, and they have the option to receive their purchases in less than an hour. They can also watch the robot travel in real time via an interactive map.
