Euro-zone’s retail sales stagnated
Retail sales remained unchanged in August, compared to the previous month in the euro zone and in the European Union – the European Union's statistical office, the Eurostat announced.
In July, the monthly increase was 0.6 percent in the euro zone and 0.4 percent in the European Union.
In August, compared to the previous year, a 2.3 percent increase in retail sales occured in the euro zone, and 2.6 percent in the European Union. (MTI)
