Retail sales rose steadily in the United States
Growth in retail and hospitality grew steadily in the United States in June, despite the higher prices and the moderate rise in wages, which shows that consumer confidence remains unbroken.
The US Department of Commerce announced on Monday that the seasonal and calendar-adjusted retail trade and hospitality prices were 506.8 billion USD at current prices in June, which is an increase of 0.5 percent, compared to the previous month. Analysts also expected 0.5 percent after the 1.3 percent increase in May. (MTI)
