Hungary's consumer confidence index remained stable in the third quarter
The Nielsen Consumer Confidence Index reached the record level of the latest period in Hungary, standing on 56 points in the third quarter, as well as during the second quarterly survey. Higher index value in Hungary in recent years was only measured in the fourth quarter of 2010; 59 points.
In terms of genders men are more optimistic than women: The consumer confidence of the former is an average of 59 points, while 53 points in case of the interviewed women.
In case of people under 35 years the average of the index reached 60 points. the 68-point average is over the average among the 25-29 year olds
However, in each age group of teh 45-64-year-olds 55 points less average evolved. The lowest average index is 40 points of the 50-54 year olds.
