Magazine: Squash’s price increased
Data from the Agricultural Economics Research Institute (AKI) and KSH’s market price information system (PÁIR) revealed that a few weeks ago Canadian/orange squash has turned up at the Budapest Wholesale Market. On the 36th week of the year it was sold for HUF 230/kg, 10 percent more than in the same period of the previous year. According to data from the European Commission, the price of eggs was EUR 122.8/100kg at the place of packaging on the weeks 1-34 of 2017.
In the same period M- and L-size eggs were sold for HUF 24.35/piece at the place of packaging in Hungary – they cost 21.7 percent more than on the same weeks of 2016. In Hungary the production price of raw milk was HUF 91.71/kg in July 2017, 39 percent more than in July 2016. Raw milk’s export price was HUF 104.72/kg – 3 percent higher than in June 2017 and 31 percent more than in July 2016. //
