The last Plus shop had been rebuilt to Spar

The Plus brand has disappeared. The former Plus supermarkets became to Spar – a new corporate identity, extended range, high quality trade are waiting for the customers.

The Spar Hungary Ltd. took over the 174 businesses of Plus network a year ago. In January the transformation of Plus stores to Spar Supermarkets had begun. On 27th of August the country's last Plus discount at Kecskemét opened again as a Spar supermarket.
With the transformed 174 businesses Spar has a total of 396 units in Hungary with 346 supermarkets, 30 Interspar hypermarkets and 20 Kaiser's stores.
