The economic contribution of the tourism sector could reach pre-coronavirus levels in 2023, the Exceltur, Spanish Tourism Association announced in a report presented in Madrid.

Spanish tourism could reach pre-pandemic level next year
According to the organization’s vice president, the sector accounted for 7.4 percent of the country’s GDP last year with 88.5 billion euros, making a direct contribution to the economy’s performance of 1.9 percent, 36 billion euros more than a year earlier, but still also lagged behind the 12.4 percent result of 2019.
