Spain received more than 37 million tourists in the first half of the year
Spain has received 37.1 million foreign tourists this year, 1.8 percent more than in the same period of last year, according to the Spanish Statistical Office (INE).
Most of them, 8.4 million came from Great Britain to Spain, followed by the Germans with 5.2 million and the French with 4.8 million tourist.
Compared to last year, the largest growth was seen in the number of American tourists (1.4 million) which is a 11.1 percent increase, compared to the previous year. (MTI)
