Spain received a record number of tourists again last year
Spain again welcomed a record number of tourists last year – according to a report published on the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism’s website.
According to the latest figures from the Spanish Bureau of Statistics, 83.7 million foreign tourists visited the southern European country in 2019, which is a 1.1 percent increase, compared to a year before.
Most people 18 million, came from the United Kingdom. Germany ranked second with 11.2 million tourists, France ranked third with 11.1 million. (MTI)
