Spain received 81.8 million foreign tourists last year
Spain has received 81.8 million foreign tourists last year, which is an 8.6 percent increase, compared to 2016, the Spanish statistical office announced on Thursday.
The agency has pointed out that Catalonia has attracted most tourists last year, with 19 million tourists, 5 percent more than in 2016. Growth was maintained despite the fact that the number of arrivals declined in the period between October and December due to the political instability caused by the independence pursuits. (MTI)
