Never seen separate waste collection success

More than ever, a total of 125 tons of beverage cartons were collected by kindergarten and -school-aged children, in the scope of the environmental program of the Beverage Carton Environment Association (IKSZ). The program has ended in late May.

This volume is the 6 percent of the separately collected beverage carton quantity, collected during the last year in Hungary. Under the program, about 62,000 students of 278 educations all across the country collected the milk and fruit soup cans selectively in the 2012-13 school year. The collected volume is nearly 30 percent more than last year’s.
