The Hungarian beer industry closed a weak first quarter, but the largest producers are confident that the turnover will pick up for the rest of the year, said Sándor Kántor László, director of the Association of Hungarian Brewers said.

The combined production of the five most significant domestic brewers (Borsodi Sörgyár Kft., Carlsberg Hungary Kft., Dreher Sörgyárak Zrt., Heineken Hungária Zrt.
