Borsodi spices up the holidays with beer specials
On the occasion of Advent, for the second time this year, those interested can meet the seasonal beer specialties of the Borsodi Brewery at the Christmas markets. In addition to last year’s hit, the boiled Belle-Vue Kriek, a new specialty will also be available this year: the boiled Guinness.
Belgian beer matured in oak barrels for three years, flavored with cinnamon, orange and cloves, this is the boiled Belle-Vue Kriek, which the visitors of the Bazilika Advent could meet for the first time last year thanks to the Borsodi Brewery. Based on the feedback, the company is preparing another surprise for the holiday season this year.
“The positive reception of our sale last year encouraged us to make our winter specialty available again this year, and in addition to the brewed Belle-Vue Kriek, we are also preparing another brewed beer. In cooperation with Diageo’s beer experts, we also created an Advent version of Guinness”
– said Balázs Rotter, the beer ambassador of the Borsodi Brewery, and regarding the recipe he added that:
“the basis of the brewed beer specialty is the iconic stout beer brewed in Ireland, to which we add dark and spicy rum. And we complete the festive flavor with, among other things, lemon juice, cardamom and star anise.”
Visitors can taste the special brewed beer made from Guinness exclusively at the Guinness house at the Bazilika Advent Christmas market, while visitors can meet the classic brewed Belle-Vue Kriek at the Vörösmarty tér Christmas market.
