Beer is the truth – The smile of the day

The internet is full of astounding, “professional” news that are belonging to almost the absurd category. But all of those that we choose for this summer are true!

A fifty-year-old German waiter who drank 10 liters of free beer a day while working in the Unter Taschenmacher in Cologne was fired. The case went to court, where he frankly confessed that he was repeatedly warned not to drink a “toast” with his friends while working. Despite of the warnings he was “stunned” that after eight years he was fired. The court obliged the owners of the pub to pay three thousand euros to the waiter in addition to three months salary for his painful loss (drinking free beer). The owners were shocked after they heard the judgment.
