They’re queuing for angel hair chocolate ice cream
The first to make ice cream from angel hair chocolate in Hungary was patissier Dávid Jakabfi, a well-known figure in modern Hungarian confectionery.
The new dessert is made from punch, ruby chocolate, pistachios and Turkish cotton candy, and is already enjoying immense popularity in his workshop in Nagykanizsa. The demand for the product is so high that there are queues outside the pastry shop and they are also expanding the garden area.
“The basis of angel hair chocolate is ruby chocolate with acidic, citrusy flavors. It was already a hit in Hungary 6-7 years ago, and now it has come back into fashion,”
– said Dávid Jakabfi.
