A beer academy opens in the capital of wine, Balatonfüred

By popular demand, the festival of Balaton beers, the Balaton Beer Weekend, will be held not only in Zamárdi, but also in the capital of wine, Balatonfüred, where the breweries of the area will present their craft products. The brewmasters also hold further training for those who “enroll” in the beer academy.

In Balatonfüred, in the shadow of the Helka disco, a real beer academy will open between May 31 and June 1, where connoisseurs and even caterers will be welcomed with further beer training, a beer reception class led by beer teachers and a beer demonstration. In addition to attending the festival and tasting, anyone can become a beer tasting specialist who applies for the Saturday thematic programs.

8 craft breweries will settle on the site with their specialties, among which will be light and refreshing black kölsch, beer made from sorghum and Mexican corn, as well as Helles beer, which follows the latest fashion and carries the most popular German beer style.
