Sopron wine region: the quantity of the harvest is good, procurement prices have increased
This year's crop has a good quantity, the quality is worse than in the previous years, but due to the market demand procurement prices have increased – Taschner István mountain village president told MTI on Wednesday.
According to him, 95 percent of the crop has already been harvested, it can be a total of 7-8 thousand tons, nearly one tenth of this amount will be exported to Austria, 50 tons will be heat-treated, and must will be produced from it.
The unified procurement prices increased to 110 HUF, from the 100 HUF of 2012, in the Sopron wine region. (MTI)
