The infectious jaundice also appeared in the vineyards of Somogy County. The experts detected the infection in the vicinity of Karád around. A quarantine has been ordered within a one kilometer radius of the area – the Somogy County Government Office told MTI on Wednesday.
The plant protection authority prohibits the transportation of propagating materials from the area and ordered the destruction of the infected vines. The infected vines and the surrounding three kilometers wide safety zone will be inspected by the experts again, the samples showing infection will be sent into a laboratory for analysis. (MTI)
