Sommelier as the hero of a comic

The first wine manga, entitled “Tears of the Gods” was created by Shin and Yuko Kibayashi – informs the Borkultusz.

Its main character, Shizuku Kanzaki is a sommelier, who has to collect the world's 12 best wines to get into the wine cellar of his deceased father. The manga has a very great popularity abroad, for example, it has became a bestseller in France.

The creators of the Manga comics told that when they are tasting wines they see images – a person, a landscape, or an object. Their favourite wines are Spanish and New Zealand wines. (turizmusonline.hu)
