One and only chance

This is a one and only chance for horticulture! In the 2014-2020 EU budgetary period the sector is one of the areas entitled to receive special support.

Despite this it very much seems that the horticulture sector isn’t prepared to profit from this opportunity. Hungarian horticulture has everything it takes, from excellent soil to irrigation water to a high number of sunny hours, but for some reason the government doesn’t trust the sector. Kert-Ész Club Hungary Association was established 4 years ago and has more than 50 members who work in horticulture in the South Great Plain. Members meet every month to discuss important matters of the sector. This April the club’s first ZSENDÜLÉS conference will try to find the solution to the sector’s most urgent problems, so that horticulture can benefit as much as possible from this great chance offered by the European Union.
