Hospitality is a success story

In the accommodation and hospitality sector the total value of investments were 58.4 billion HUF in 2008. This is 10.9 percent more in volume than in the previous year, while Hungarian economy had a 3 percent decline.

According to the publication of the Central Statistical Office; the rate of investment in the sector rose steadily from 2006 and in 2008 excessed the 1.2 percent.
Tourism gave the 18.2 percent revenue side of the foreign trade services, while gave the 28.9 percent of the expenditure side.
