The Grüne Woche ended with success in Berlin – Gastronomic tour around the world, with Hungarians

The Green Week (Grüne Woche) trade fair in Berlin ended on Sunday with two records. A total of 1,630 exhibitors represented, sixty-seven countries – more than ever before. Hungary was represented by Czerván György Minister of State for the Rural Development Ministry at the Summit of the Agriculture Ministers. The participation of eighty-two (!) ministers was also a record in the event's history.
– The Grüne Woche as the world's most popular food fair remains a magnet for visitors. During ten days, 407 thousand visitors were registered, of which 100 thousand came for professional reasons – Wolfgang Rogall press officer told Sunday evening after closing time.
He added that visitors could choose from more than 100 thousand kinds of food and drinks, and consumed for an average of 21 euros at the fair. In addition, visitors ordered products for an average value of 92 euros. Thus, the exhibitor's total revenue was over 46 million euros.
