Kiwi is cultivated with large-scale methods and good business results in Becsehely, Zala County successfully. From the four-hectare orchard, which is the largest kiwi plantation in Hungary, kiwis are delivered to the domestic stores since last year – the professional manager of the plantation told MTI.
Miklós Ákos Márton “inherited” the love of Kivi from his father. They are trying to grow kiwi, since the 1990s. A few years ago, they found the south-eastern hills of Becsehely, Zala County, with excellent facilities and they are producing the originally China -originating with large-scale production methods since 2012.
