The project “Implementation of MAHOP DCF tasks for the period 2016-2023” was successfully completed
The Nonprofit Limited Liability Company of the AKI Agráközgazdasági Intézet, supported in the framework of the call of the Hungarian Fisheries Operative Program’s support system code number MAHOP-3.1.2-2017, entitled “Support for the collection, management and use of data related to fish farming – implementation of the DCF project”, MAHOP -3-1.2.1-2017-2017-00001 priority project with December 31, 2023. The project was realized with the help of HUF 721.18 million gross non-refundable support from the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund and domestic central budget appropriations.
The European Council created the so-called Fisheries Data Collection Framework (DCF) for the collection, management and use of data in the fisheries sector, as well as for the acquisition of scientific opinions necessary for the implementation of the Common Fisheries Policy. The regulation of the European Parliament and Council on the establishment of the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund obliges the member states to collect data within the framework of the DCF during the implementation of the operational programs created under its scope. In Hungary in the period 2016-2023, the DCF data collection is part of the Széchenyi 2020 program Hungarian Fish Management Operative Program (MAHOP) within the framework of the priority project “Implementation of MAHOP DCF tasks for the period 2016-2023” in the AKI Institute of Agricultural Economics.
