Successful record attempt at the Egg Festival in Siófok
The Sunday Guinness record attempt of the popular Egg Festival of Siófok was successful. In the scope of the Guinness record attempt, the favorite egg dish of Liszt Ferenc, made of 8450 eggs was sold out within 40 minutes – told Kovács József, head organizer to MTI.
It was the ninth Egg Festival in Siófok. The event was held between the 14th and 16th of October on the occasion of the World Egg Day. The Guinness record attempt was held on the closing day. The meal was consist of 8450 eggs, 150 kg of green peppers, 60 kg tomatoes, 80 kg of onion, 80 kg mangalica fat, 25 kg meat scoop, 10 kg-fried breaded onion – reports MTI.
