Amazon enters the Italian FMCG market
Amazon started selling FMCG products in Italy: in the online shop customers can choose from nearly 20,000 products, including brands such as Barilla, Valfrutta, Knorr, Rio Mare, San Benedetto, Mulino Bianco, Plasmon, Mellin, Huggies, Chanteclair, Dash, Scottex and Cuki. Customers receive the goods they buy in 24 hours. Amazon’s future goal is to start selling the products of independent manufacturers as well – and not only in Italy.
